🔴Duration of training: one year.
🔴Cost: with the exception of private fee-paying institutions, tuition is free. You only need to pay the student fee starting from €100 per semester.
🔖 A Russian applicant will not be able to enroll in a German university immediately after school. It takes 12 years of schooling to study at a German university.
To make up for the missing year, you can:

⏯ Graduate from Studienkolleg (a college where foreigners are prepared for admission to a German university)
2️⃣Vocational training, colleges — Ausbildung
🔴Age: from 16 years old.
🔴Duration of training: 1-4 years.
🔴Cost: often free of charge, as the training is paid for by the employer. The exception is training in certain professions, such as medical, and studying in private institutions.
🔖 Training is often focused on practice: in many colleges, theory is given 1-2 days a week, and the rest of the time is devoted to internships in production or in a company. At the same time, the years of study are considered work experience.
3️⃣Bachelor's Degree — Undergraduate

🔴Duration of training: 3-4 years.
🔴Cost: mostly free, you only need to pay the semester fee — an average of €200 per semester in 2024. The exceptions are private universities, the state universities of Baden-Wuerttemberg and the Technical University of Munich.
4️⃣Master's Degree — Graduate/Postgraduate
🔴Age: from 21 years old for the MBA, for others — on request.
🔴Duration of training: 1-2 years.
🔴Cost: mostly free, students pay only the university fee — an average of €120–€350 per semester, but can reach €700. The exceptions are private universities, public universities in Baden-Wuerttemberg, and the Technical University of Munich.
5️⃣Doctoral studies — Graduate
🔴Age: on request.
🔴Duration of training: from 2 to 5-6 years.
🔴Cost: mostly free, students pay only the university fee — an average of €120–€350 per semester, but can reach €700. The exceptions are private universities, public universities in Baden-Wuerttemberg, and the Technical University of Munich.
🔖Sometimes, while studying for a PhD, you can work as a researcher. To do this, the university needs to look for an employee who will write a research paper on a topic of interest to the university.
