PART 2: Why didn’t all orders execute?

We understand that the most sensitive point for traders is when positions don’t open.

Let’s take a closer look at the reasons why this could happen:

Slippage during volatility

• When a trader opens a position, they set the worst acceptable price for execution, factoring in slippage.
• While the trader confirms the transaction in their wallet, the price can shift.
• If the price shift exceeds 1%, the position will not open, and the margin is automatically returned.

TON network speed

• Under heavy load, the blockchain processed transactions in up to 60 seconds. During this time, some orders were automatically rejected.

Important:

• Storm operates fully on smart contracts. The team has no access to trader positions or funds.
• If the contract detects too wide a price deviation, it automatically returns the funds to the trader.

This is a core element of Storm Trade’s decentralized architecture.
