Heidelberg WIRkt 2026—it's just two weeks away! 🧡

On Saturday, October 17, we—the Advisory Board for People with Disabilities and Kein Schritt Nach Rechts Heidelberg—invite you to Heidelberg WIRkt 2026 at the Chapel as part of Heidelberg’s Days of Action Against Poverty and Exclusion.

You can look forward to a day of dropping by, getting to know each other, getting involved, talking, and celebrating. WE have a children’s program, WE’re hosting a “Market of Opportunities” with snacks, and WE’re creating space for discussion—and in the evening, WE’ll come together to celebrate.

☀️ 3–7 p.m. | Market of Opportunities—Get to know initiatives from Heidelberg and the surrounding area, get involved, start conversations, and have a great time.

✨ A few highlights
• Stamp rally for kids, storytime corner, and collaborative painting on a big screen
• Bring your favorite book and present it at the Literary Speed Dating event
• Tell us at the Wishing Tree what you hope for in a more just world
• Join in conversations with others through various small-group discussions and engaging discourse formats. Motto: “Talk with people, not about them.”

💬 5–7 p.m. | Panel discussion “Welcome to the Margins of Society”

A panel discussion on poverty, exclusion, privilege, and social participation—together with representatives from urban society, local politics, and you!

🎶 7–10 p.m. | Party Without Exclusion
Afterward, WE’ll come together to celebrate: with 3 bands, live music, and a party for everyone*.

📅 Saturday, October 17, 2026 | 3:00–10:00 p.m.
📍 Chapel, Rheinstraße, Heidelberg-Südstadt

🧡 Free admission

WE are different, and that’s a good thing. WE are many, and we won’t let anything divide us. WE believe in the power of community and solidarity.

It’s going to be a great day. Come on by and bring your friends, family, and anyone else who’s up for meeting new people, sharing ideas, and celebrating together! See you on October 17 at the Chapel! 🧡
