We're excited to announce that the new Omniston API update is scheduled to go live this Wednesday. The update introduces key enhancements designed for greater functionality, flexibility, and efficiency—and it's fully backward compatible with revision 1.

🆕 What's New?

🔧 Key Enhancements:

1️⃣ SettlementMethodParams Introduction

* Configure fees per settlement method with precision.
* Define assets for referrer and protocol fees.
* Set protocol fee amounts clearly in basis points.

2️⃣ Deprecation of `protocol_fee_bps`

* Transition required: Please use SettlementMethodParams moving forward.

3️⃣ Gas Excess Address in Transactions

* Specify an address for receiving unspent gas, optimizing fund management.

4️⃣ Enhanced Trade Status Response

* transfer_timestamp: Exact UTC timestamp for outgoing transfer detection.
* estimated_finish_timestamp: Provides clearer trade progress and completion updates.

5️⃣ Estimated Gas Consumption

* Omniston now provides automated gas consumption estimations, removing the need for manual calculations.

6️⃣ Deprecation of `gas_budget` in SwapRoute

* Simplifies quoting by automatically estimating gas with estimated_gas_consumption.

⚠️ Important Reminder for Resolvers:
Ensure quotes include all applicable fees from SettlementMethodParams and QuoteRequest to maintain accuracy and fairness.
