• The authorities have surrendered Lebanon’s sources of strength and are helping the American–Israeli project instead of confronting it. Seven rounds of direct negotiations achieved results far below zero.

• The Lebanese army is a national army. It must not become a tool for foreign demands to disarm us.

• Any Israeli withdrawal would be the result of resistance and the memorandum of understanding, not negotiations.

• The president has the right to negotiate, but not to violate the constitution, the Taif Agreement or surrender Lebanon’s rights.

• We remain open to dialogue—but how can it proceed when the resistance and its people are declared outside the law?

• We will contribute to housing and reconstruction through our capabilities and donations. The state must also fulfill its responsibilities.
