SRE.ai just raised $7.2M to automate DevOps for startups.

The San Francisco startup uses AI to eliminate manual software deployment headaches. Founded by ex-Google DeepMind engineers.

• $7.2M seed led by Salesforce Ventures + Crane Venture Partners
• AI chatbot scans code for bugs before production
• Auto-fixes infrastructure limits in test environments
• One-click rollback for faulty deployments
• Creates test environments with sample datasets
• Auto-shutdown to save costs

Why it matters: DevOps bottlenecks kill startup velocity. SRE.ai turns 3-hour deployments into 10-minute workflows.

AI isn't killing startup jobs — it's creating them.

Mercury surveyed 1,500 early-stage founders. Key findings:

• 79% of AI-adopting startups are hiring MORE because of AI
• AI companies 3x more likely to actively scale teams
• 68% of AI-forward companies growing headcount vs 28% non-adopters
• AI adopters 2x more likely to seek larger funding rounds

Hiring surge spans growth roles: biz dev (44%), sales (43%), marketing (42%), customer service (42%).

Why? AI amplifies humans rather than replacing them. Founders automate routine tasks, then invest saved time/capital into revenue-generating roles.

🚀Startups with co-founders survive 2.5x longer than solo-founded startups.
According to HackerNews, in the hard startup environment, solo-founders burn out from scaling weight.

For this reason Y-Combinator, the world’s top accelerator, openly prefers 2+ founder teams. Many of their unicorns were built by duos — while even solo founders with 20 years of experience often didn’t make it.

❌👉 Don’t fight the odds alone. Invite your co-founder to this channel — grow together, and give your startup a real chance to win.

China controls 90% of rare earth magnet production. Durham startup Vulcan Elements just raised $65M to change that.

Series A led by Altimeter Capital to scale domestic magnet manufacturing. Founded in 2023, already producing at 21K sq ft facility with DOD contracts across all military branches.

Target: Several hundred metric tonnes annually by 2027, thousands by 2030. 100% decoupled from Chinese supply chain.

Why it matters: These magnets power EVs, defense systems, semiconductors. When 90% comes from one country, that's not supply chain diversification — that's a single point of failure.

Takeaway: Critical infrastructure + geopolitical risk = massive market opportunity.
