AI testing startup cuts QA time in half, raises $20M Series A

Synthesized automates software testing using AI to catch bugs in the "vibe coding" era where developers use AI to write code from descriptions.

• $20M Series A led by Redalpine Venture Partners
• Deutsche Bank, UBS among customers
• Cuts test data setup time by 50%
• Market expected to hit $10.6B by 2033

How it happened:
• PhD research at Cambridge → identified enterprise gap
• Built synthetic data platform → solved 2-4 month provisioning in 10 minutes
• Landed Deutsche Bank early → proved 50% time savings
• Expanded to traditional QA during pandemic
• Closed seed 2 weeks before lockdown → built remote deployment

Takeaway: AI coding boom creates massive testing opportunities for founders.
