Sofist Live @ CultKitchen Radio Showcase (Mutabor, Moscow)

Back in the day, we celebrated three years of the CultKitchen Radio Show with two live events, one of which was the late Sunday session at Mutabor featuring electronic live performances. Sunset lights, afterparty vibe, scattered poufs, and people lounging in the room where techno music had played just hours before, accompanied by a lone candle that was lit at the beginning and burned out at the final chord.

Sofist is a solo project by the legendary Artemiy Anrilov. In one of Plato's late dialogues with the same name, there is a debate about the definition of the word "sofist." It is argued that non-being is not merely the opposite of being, but rather something independent and distinct. Even existence itself can turn out to be non-existent. Artemiy embarks on a journey, tuning the space to explore the subtle boundary between the real and the imaginary.
