Recently, I have noticed a revival of interest in Jung's typology and have come across an opposition: they say, "this is Jung's typology, not socionics!"
These are really different typologies, but it is necessary to clarify which socionics is meant. It seems to most people that there is only one socionics, but there are many different variants of it!

The old socionics is, yes, quite far from Jung's typology. Aushra and her followers came up with a lot of theoretical stuff, which was mostly not confirmed later. And there really is very little Jung in the old socionics: no one was interested in developing and exploring his ideas, but everyone rushed to propose new entities and create additional theoretical piles (typing by appearance, etc.)

We had to do something about it, and we checked all the theories within socionics, corrected errors and inaccuracies, abandoned broken hypotheses and assumptions, left only what works and ... in many ways came to the ideas of Jung. Which we have significantly expanded and supplemented, taking into account our long-term practice and almost 10,000 typings.

A set of 16 psychotypes in Jung's typology was already used almost 100 years ago.
Carl Jung's Seminar on May 7, 1930. A man is mentioned who comes to an analytical psychologist:

"He is a healthy businessman, retired, about forty-seven years old... Some people will be interested to know that he is classified as a thinking-sensing introvert."

That is, this is a logical-sensory introvert "Maxim" in socionic terms.

As a result, we can talk openly today.:
Modern socionics is Jung's typology in its modern form, in synthesis with the discoveries of socionics about 16 types, 4 quadras and intertype relationships.

Our ideas and practical conclusions are fully consistent with Jung's ideas and significantly expand them, add details and new conclusions.

Yes, we know that GPT chat and its counterparts "know" something about typologies. Western networks mostly know about MBTI, our Russian ones know about socionics, but in all cases the information is "flat" and incorrect, because AI receives average information from the most popular sources (which are inevitably of poor quality), so the final result is not exhaustive knowledge, but simply a compilation of the most popular statements. Which are superficial in their essence.

The answers of neural networks about socionics do not make much sense, because it is clear that there is no deep understanding of the question behind the answer. The same applies to typing using neural networks - if there is no methodology at the core, then the result will be just a random mess of streamlined phrases with the same random type, that can be suggested just by a group of enthusiasts without any AI.

Thus, the task of "teaching AI proper socionics" means that we need to flood the Internet with our materials in order to shift AI's attention from behavioral socionics to our approach. This task is very difficult to achieve due to the fact that our ideas have a strict #IQ threshold - they are simply beyond the comprehension of most people, so outdated behavioral socionics wins only due to the dominance of the intellectual majority and, as a result, this becomes (and has already become) consensus knowledge within neural networks and beyond.

To teach #AI in modern #socionics is not a task that we consider interesting and realistic for ourselves; we work for people who are able to understand modern socionics, and it is more interesting for us to work with them. Even a neural network trained by us will still make mistakes and we will have to double-check it anyway.

If we are (very big) optimists, then this is no more than 1% of all people and no more than 10% of those who are interested in typologies at any level. Even within socionics itself, there is a serious segmentation of the audience.

So the popular behavioral socionic (and #MBTI) approach will always win due to Gaussian distribution of intelligence, and it's okay. We work for our potential 1% of people 😁

🛣What should you strive for if you are (ir)rational? In socionics and MBTI, it has traditionally been believed that rationals (Judgers) are more systematic, while irrationals (Perceivers) tend to be chaotic. 10-15 years ago, I also thought so when I was teaching old socionics.

However, the problem with that socionics is that its early authors tried to rigidly attribute any household habits and individual character traits to the type, whereas the type describes more global layers of the psyche. ⚙️

📚After typing thousands of people of different types, it became clear that the attraction to order and rules is not a sign of any specific type, because it can have many reasons: for example, anxiety or increased rational functions in the human psyche.

⏱For example, our countryman Immanuel Kant lived his whole life according to a strict schedule, while he had an irrational socionic type (ILI). And we have found hundreds of such examples when we have a person of rational type with irrational behavior traits and vice versa. This discovery has significantly changed our understanding of types.

❓Is it necessary to strive for order if you are rational? According to modern socionics, every person has rational (logic, ethics) and irrational (sensory, intuition) functions. Rational functions strive for consistency and predictability, irrational functions tend to spontaneity and some chaos. Each person has their own balance of these functions, and this is a fairly stable mechanism (for this we define an individual subtype). Therefore, in this matter, we always recommend adapting work and lifestyle to your natural rhythms, rather than going against the nature of the psyche.

❗️So if, for example, you are prone to chaos, try to find a lifestyle that does not strongly contradict your personality. In some professions, flexibility and stress tolerance can be a real advantage. And more systematic and consistent people will always find a use for themselves, since this is considered as social norm.

👥If you gather 100 people from Gamma who do not know their socionic types and offer them to type each other, they will definitely type each other to different quadras, and they will never agree that they are all from the same quadra.

🌪In general, people from the Gamma tend to "run away" to other Quadras and types more than others - this is a manifestation of their active individualism. I've been observing this in socionics for 12 years now.

🌳By the way: Gammians, who calmly accept their quadra in all its diversity, are usually the most satisfied with their life. And this is no coincidence: it is the Gamma quadra that largely determines the appearance of our civilization.

🔎More than 100 years ago, Carl Gustav Jung defined Nietzsche as an introverted intuitive type; we fully confirm these conclusions taking into account the methods of modern socionics. At the same time, it is important to mention that Nietzsche's introverted intuition is combined with an extroverted ethical function.

In the diagram you can see an approximate picture of how different socionic types are represented in the media.
Such inequality in publicity among types is due to socionic quadral values.

The aspects and functions that contribute to a person's publicity are:
1. Central values (Se+Ni) which are inherent to Beta and Gamma.
2. Valued or strong Se.
3. Valued or strong Fi.
4. Will higher than 4th.

We see absolute dominance of Gamma by all these parameters while such types as periphery introverts LII, SEI, EII and SLI stay away from any publicity.

🌆Media coverage rating by quardas (from high to low) is: Gamma, Beta, Delta and Alpha which has only one relatively "public" type ESE (but still rare in general), while all 4 Gamma types can be easily found among famous media persons.

There are many other interesting consequences of this socionic law. We discovered it somewhere around ~2019-2020 when we gained more experience in typing of current and historical celebrities.

❓Can any socionic type be anyone? Our 14+ year research and discoveries in socionics quite confidently say NO.

👁We named it Social Visibility Law. A person has an innate socionic type, a person has a very specific Will (from 1 to 4), and this largely determines the range of professions and self-realization that is available to him. It is thanks to innate types that people naturally strive and "distribute" themselves across various types of activities and, in many ways, along the social "ladder".

⚠️In the old socionics, as well as in MBTI, is it quite normal to find LII, ILE and/or EII in politics, big business or among the top media personalities. Our research says that in such areas, strong or valued ⚫️black sensation (Se) and/or ⬛️black logic (Te) are mandatory, therefore, in principle, not all types of people can get into such industries.

👇Social Visibility Law conclusions:
1. Not all 16 socionic types can be easily found among famous, historical and media people.
2. We can find in public media only a certain set of socionic types which consists of 7-8 mostly "visible" and competitive types, while other types remain "invisible" for public eye since they lead ordinary life and are not present in the media in any way.
3. This fact leads to a situation when people try to distribute socially visible people (7-8 types) among 16 socionic or MBTI types, while such a limited sample is initially incomplete. That is why many socionic/MBTI types have remained unexplored for a long time. That's the reason why old socionics / MBTI can't give definite differences between ILE and LIE, LSI and SLI, IEE and EIE, and so on.

MBTI in fact has many problems and blind spots, e.g.
1. They haven't captured several types from 16 at all, they are just not described normally (it is common problem for MBTI and old socionics).
2. J-P dichotomy as it is described in MBTI simply does not exist in reality. Many features of this dichotomy contradict each other and have no consistent logic. Some of the seemingly opposite signs intersect with each other and do not belong to Jungian characteristics at all, being psychological traits from outside socionic types.
I'll write about it later, there's much interesting in this topic.

Recently we typed Arthur Conan Doyle, famous English writer. His socionic type is SEE "Politician"/"Napoleon"

His extraverted sensation (Se) is really strong. His sport interests and activities included: football, boxing, cricket, rifle shooting and so on. In his works, diaries and letters we find sensation highly dominant above other functions: detailed descriptions of household items, clothing, appearance, material objects, the impact on these objects, dangers, struggles and confrontations.
We also find extraverted logic (Te) and white ethics (Fi) in his works.
So, the types that can have such a set of functions can be LSI, SEE, LSE.
LSE is not possible, because we have black sensation valued (central quadras - Beta or Gamma), LSI is also not suitable, because he have too much ethics (no logical type fits here) + extraversion, so the final type is sensory-ethical extrovert "Napoleon" or "Politician" with PWEL psychosophic type.
