Every tattoo on the soak skin is somehow beautiful, however ‘lame’ or delicate.

Beauty is not just an external quality, but a resonance with the fundamental nature of self. This recognition can arrive spontaneously, or be approached intentionally through practices like meditation. Music (and by extension, all art) can serve as a conductor to the same understanding.

32 tracks crept up like an uncontrolled desire of getting tattooed over and over again. soak body is etched with a (s)extensive selection of self-recognition-evoking music by musicians & sound producers across the globe. Raw or refined, recorded live, carefully produced, (un)processed or playfully generated, the diversity of sound and approach eventually point at something intimate: the ‘how to be’. A shared ‘something’ we truly celebrate together via media at hand 🎧

We’re pleased to present a data-driven sound installation by experimental sound artist and ambient composer Igor Dyachenko

“Spatial” is a documented sound installation that emerges at the intersection of tracking data sonification and artistic exploration. Inspired by a hike up Mount Agung in Indonesia, the work transforms the journey’s experience into an emotional soundscape.

The artist converts gps data and biometric indicators collected during the route into an auditory plane, reimagining the physical and emotional journey as sound. Altitude, coordinates, time, heart rate, and blood oxygen levels serve as source elements, each shaping the evolving sonic landscape.

Bucharest’s djfacmuzica lands on soak with 'baby ibis'—a fleeting and potent spell of half-whispered rhythms and glitching incantations.

Inspired by an alchemical vision of the collapse between chaos and order, mischief and reverence, these tracks dissolve tension into an airy, effervescent drift 🐦
