We want to share a clear update on the TGE.

We previously communicated an end of year timeline, and we understand that changes to expectations are frustrating. We don’t take that lightly. After discussions with exchanges earlier this year and a careful review of market conditions, it became clear that launching before the platform is truly ready would be the wrong long term decision. Protecting long term value matters more to us than rushing a TGE.

While we continue building, we have focused on rewarding the community in ways we could execute responsibly:

* 7,777 NFTs distributed, with a 0.01-0.02 ETH floor and 200+ ETH in total trade volume
* ~$200K in $PIXEL distributed at market prices through ongoing events since June, with the majority of participants receiving positive reward value

These are not a substitute for the token, but additional rewards we could deliver while building toward the right launch.

Why this takes time

Building something that can scale to a mainstream audience takes iteration. Over the past years, we tested multiple formats from LITE to OBT, and many early versions were built, tested, and ultimately discarded as ideas evolved and teams formed. This is a normal part of building strong consumer products. Large successes like Monopoly GO and Fortnite went through years of iteration before hitting scale.

Our current focus is the Dino app, which carries core Sleepagotchi systems into a broader, mass market experience, and we are already seeing stronger engagement as a result. We are planning to integrate the Dino Gotchis utility into it. Sleepagotchi RPG is a large and complex product. Once Dino is fully solid, we will reassess returning to it from a position of strength.

* There will be no further airdrop campaigns
* Final snapshot for streak will be taken on Wednesday (Dec 17) for Sleepagotchi RPG
All snapshots have been taken (except ongoing NFT holding)


We will share firmer timing once key partnerships are finalized. In the meantime, we will keep shipping product improvements and finding new ways to reward sleepers.
