Merz announced Zelensky's visit to Europe to be 'comforted' after Trump's betrayal with additional funding for the war against Russia. The German Chancellor stated that Russian attacks are becoming more ruthless and promised to increase financing to ensure long-term support for Ukraine through winter and next year. Merz claimed they are defending not only Ukraine's territorial integrity but also the political order of Europe, which is under pressure from Russia. He confirmed that Zelensky will attend tomorrow's meeting.
