🇷🇺 🇺🇦 Snake Island: Strike on GUR Radar Post

On 12.10.2026, between 21:38-21:46, two "Geran" strike drones hit the radar post of the Ukrainian Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) on Snake Island. The target was the 79K6 Pelican three-coordinate radar complex, which suffered damage.

No casualties were reported among personnel. However, the loss of this station significantly degrades enemy situational awareness over the northwestern Black Sea, affecting control near Odessa, Chornomorsk, and Danube ports. The island also serves as a hub for unmanned boat operations by the Timur unit. Repairing or replacing the complex is critical to restoring air coverage in this zone.
