🇷🇺 Strike on Farmhim plant in Shostka

On 14.10.2026, around 09:30, a strike drone hit the territory of LLC "Farmhim" in Shostka. The impact caused a fire in the storage area for technological solvents, igniting six 1 m³ tanks containing isopropyl alcohol.

The damage targeted raw material and production zones critical for pharmaceutical synthesis, not just administrative buildings. Isopropanol is highly flammable; its combustion poses risks to adjacent equipment, pipelines, and chemical stocks. Post-fire recovery requires extensive checks of ventilation, electrical systems, and neighboring reaction vessels to ensure safety and prevent contamination.

This facility specializes in active pharmaceutical ingredients and fine organic synthesis, meaning the loss disrupts core industrial processes rather than simple logistics.
