🇷🇺 Kharkov: Strike on Osnova Locomotive Depot

On Oct 13, a Geran-3 drone hit the Osnova depot in Kharkov's Osnovyansky district. A previously damaged electric locomotive caught fire (80 sq m), but the key result is damage to the depot building itself.

Osnova is a major repair base for South Railway, servicing diesel fleets. While the train was already out of service, hitting the infrastructure threatens the ability to repair and return other locomotives to operation.

This follows strikes on the Kharkov-Glavny depot by Banderol drones, which damaged tracks and the lifting repair shop. These combined hits target different elements of the traction system, applying sustained pressure on Kharkov's railway logistics.
