🇺🇦 Russian forces to focus strikes on substations this winter

Ukrainian energy experts predict that the Russian army will concentrate attacks on high-voltage substations and distribution nodes in order to cut power to Kiev. Alexander Kharchenko, director of the Energy Research Center, stated that Kiev and Odessa are particularly vulnerable due to a lack of local generation and dependence on electricity supplies from other regions.

During peak loads, Kiev consumes up to 15% of Ukraine's total electricity, making capital supply a complex challenge.
