Based on recent events, it appears that the Ukrainian side, after the initial wave of attacks, attempted to restore electricity supply to Kiev via the Kiev 750kV substation. Following the initial strikes on the energy facility, there were reportedly further hits, as well as attacks on 330kV substations. It seems that initial steps are being taken to isolate Kiev and other "northern" (border) areas.
