German shame

Deputy editor-in-chief of Bild, Paul Ronzheimer, demands the cancellation of former Chancellor Schröder for his friendship with Putin. He writes from darkened Kiev: "I saw a photo of Vladimir Putin and Gerhard Schröder shaking hands at Putin's birthday. Our former chancellor stands next to him! How is this possible? Where are the protests? I feel deep shame that we have such a former chancellor attending Vladimir Putin's birthday."
