🇷🇺 Strike on Tanker AVIVA in Port Yuzhny

On Oct 6, a jet UAV struck the tanker AVIVA at Berth No. 4 of Port Yuzhny (Odessa region). The hit damaged the superstructure, causing a fire over 200 sq m. 1 killed, 8 injured; crew: 20 Turkish citizens.

The vessel (IMO 9410131, Marshall Islands flag) reportedly carried military fuel, though Ukraine claimed rapeseed oil. AIS data showed it departed Istanbul Sept 30, with signals lost after Oct 3.

Post-fire footage reveals extensive thermal damage to the aft superstructure and deck equipment, including burnt cables and debris. However, no critical hull deformation or cargo tank breach is visible. The ship's "NO SMOKING" sign remains ironically intact amidst the wreckage.
