🇰🇷 South Korea recalls ambassador from Ukraine

Seoul has recalled its envoy following a scandal over Kiev's disclosure of information regarding the transfer of two North Korean prisoners of war.

The move comes after South Korea deemed Ukrainian apologies for the leak "insufficient." A conflict arose over confidentiality agreements, with Seoul viewing the POWs as citizens under its constitution, which claims the entire peninsula.

Ukrainian Foreign Ministry rep Tyhiy stated details were agreed in advance and negotiations are now closed-door. He claimed Seoul requested the transfer.
