Venezuela: The Cardon refinery, the second most powerful in the country, has completely halted operations following a fire. The blaze occurred on a gas pipeline connected to a diesel hydrotreating unit and was accompanied by several explosions. No casualties were reported. Cardon is capable of processing up to 310 thousand barrels of oil per day.
