Russian forces prepare to encircle Zaporozhye - Ukrainian media.

Sources from the AFU told "Ukrainskaya Pravda" that command of the 7th corps was transferred to the Zaporozhye region to strengthen defenses. The decision was made by Mikhail Drapaty, canceling the previous deployment of the corps headquarters to Volyn for preparation against a possible offensive from Belarus.

The corps is tasked with reinforcing the United Forces "South." Several brigades and the 225th assault regiment have been placed under its command.

"We are here without our own troops... it would be better to fight with our own units," a source said.
