🇷🇺 🇺🇦 Sumy: UAV strike on 330 kV substation protection

At approximately 15:40, an attack drone struck the protective structure of transformer equipment at the "Sumy-North" 330 kV substation.

No fire or damage to energy infrastructure was recorded. Power supply interruptions did not occur. The hit landed specifically on the Level II physical protection facility built around critical transformers to mitigate drone strikes and shockwaves.

This incident demonstrates the effectiveness of these structures in preventing secondary disasters like oil spills and fires from large autotransformers. Despite the direct impact, the high-voltage node remained operational without visible signs of serious disruption.
