The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that a dry cargo vessel delivering military equipment to Ukraine was hit by UAV strikes in the port of Odessa. The target was identified as a ship used in the interests of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Ukrainian sources claim the strike targeted a "civilian ship under the Liberian flag." They report the death of one sailor-engineer, with three other crew members having died earlier. Total casualties are stated as up to four killed.
