🇺🇦 Transport Collapse in Kiev After Strikes on Bridges

On the morning of October 3, a strike hit the Severny Bridge in Kiev, damaging the road surface and trolleybus lines. Traffic from the left bank was halted to allow emergency services access.

Casualties & Damage:
Two air defense personnel operating a Gepard SPAAG were wounded; several vehicles were damaged near the blast zone. No visible deformation of the bridge's cable-stayed structure has been reported yet.

Context:
The attack occurred one day after Gepards were deployed on the bridge, following earlier strikes that disabled the Yuzhny Bridge (Oct 1-2).

Impact:
Massive kilometers-long traffic jams formed, particularly in the Troeshchyna district. Local media urge drivers to seek alternative routes as no immediate resolution is expected.
