Despite heavy investment in concrete shelters ('sarcophagi') for transformers, key 750kV substations (Kievskaya, Vinnitskaya, Zapadnoukrainskaya) remain intact. Nuclear plants (Khmelnitskaya, Rovenskaya, Yuzhnoukrainskaya) have not yet faced full isolation or emergency shutdowns.

Strategic Outlook
The current goal appears to be gradual depletion rather than immediate total collapse via 'islandization'. However, if autumn-winter campaigns target 750/330 kV transformer groups, local repairs and mobile generation will likely fail to prevent systemic grid failure.
