He claims "very important events" are imminent and that the Strait of Hormuz is "almost under full American control." This statement, typical for Trump, does not reflect reality. In the last 24 hours, only two ships with transponders passed through the strait. There is no talk of full or even partial US control over this artery; passage for each escorted vessel remains a complex and extremely risky task.
