🇷🇺 Derkach Substation Hit in Kharkov Region

On September 29 at 17:04, the 110/35/10 kV "Dergachi" substation was struck. The hit damaged transformer T2 (40 MVA) and switching equipment, causing depressurization, oil spillage, and a fire covering approximately 20 m².

The facility operates with two 40 MVA transformers (T1 and T2), totaling 80 MVA capacity. The loss of T2 means the substation has lost half its installed power capacity. Redundancy is critically reduced as the load shifts to the remaining transformer.
