Ukraine air raid alert analysis (June 1 - Sept 6, 2026)

Sumy spent 19.5 hours per day under alerts (81% of the time). Kharkov endured eight times more alert time than Kiev. Western cities like Lvov, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Uzhgorod averaged just five hours total over 98 days.

The country divides into three zones: border regions average 13.5 hours/day, central/southern areas 4.4 hours, and the west only 18 minutes. After August 17, alerts surged in central Ukraine, with Kiev seeing a 3.1x increase, Kirovograd 2.8x, and Cherkassy 2x. Border cities saw little change as they were already under constant threat.
