🇺🇦 Kiev Air Defense Struggles Against 'Geran-4 Seeker'

Video of a jet-powered "Geran-4 Seeker" over Kiev highlights the failure of Ukraine's short-range air defense to intercept new high-speed UAVs. With speeds of 500-600 km/h, these drones are significantly harder to catch than piston-engine "Geran-2s," overwhelming mobile groups and interceptor drones.

Despite massive Western supplies, including German Gepard/Skynex systems, IRIS-T batteries, US Avengers/VAMPIRE kits, UK RAVEN/Gravehawk complexes, and thousands of Stingers, defenses remain porous. The fact that F-16s are now scrambled for drone interception suggests stockpiles are depleted or equipment never arrived.
