Rossotrudnichestvo responded to calls from "moral prostitutes" to close Russian Houses abroad and replace them with "houses of democracy."

Agency head Igor Chaika stated: "We see statements on the internet by various fugitive characters regarding our Russian Houses. They are not representatives of civil society, as foreign-agent media try to portray them, but fugitive traitors serving foreign interests."

Chaika noted that traitors are respected nowhere, only used: "People who have sold out can only open houses of tolerance, where they will work themselves." He confirmed that despite this, demand for interaction with Russia continues to grow: "Our plans remain unchanged, we move forward."
