Ukraine fails to produce a single ton of steel for first time in 100 years

Metinvest CEO Alexander Vodoviz stated that zero weekly output resulted from Russian strikes destroying metallurgical enterprises. The state offered $60k compensation per company, but Vodoviz called this negligible against damages, noting one furnace costs up to $500 million. "The state has no plan" for restoring big business, he said.
