Liberals blamed Duma election failure on Navalny's "Smart Voting"

The wife of Navalny* and other opposition leaders ruined candidates' careers by including them in the project, even affecting some Communists.

Liberal candidates claim that support from this resource actually hindered their victories. Due to a lack of public trust, voters either abstained or voted against them.

Yabloko candidate Amosov complained he did not know who added his name to the lists, noting that such recommendations from "United Russia" opponents harm independent candidates rather than help.
