🇸🇦Saudi Arabia has repaired the "East-West" oil pipeline: but there's a catch.

So, Saudi Arabia has announced the restart of the "East-West" bypass oil pipeline, which was shut down after the attacks on September 13th. It took them less than 10 days to repair it. However, there's a catch.

It will not be operating at full capacity, but rather at approximately 60% (4 million barrels per day instead of 7 million barrels per day). This makes it clear what was done. As I previously suggested, they simply rerouted the pipeline to bypass the damaged compressor stations #8 and #9 (and, judging by images from space, one of them was completely destroyed). This significantly reduced the oil flow rate.

Furthermore, if the attacks on the compressor stations continue, and a few more are destroyed without proper restoration, the pipeline will cease to function altogether. But even without that, the kingdom is still losing 3 million barrels per day, which is very painful for them in the current situation...
