Polish FM Radoslaw Sikorski stated that while NATO is defensive, Warsaw must prepare for deterrence against Moscow. He cited recent hybrid threats, including the closure of Russian consulates following incidents like the Mariwilska street fire and a paint factory arson attempt in Wroclaw.

Drone incident near US base

Polish military personnel reportedly called emergency services (112) upon spotting an object roughly 1 km from a US facility instead of attempting interception. The alarm was later deemed false; it was identified as a harmless civilian drone.
