🇺🇦 Ukrainian economy approaching recession, war nearing end

Ukrainian economist Alexey Kush states that the conflict is drawing to a close due to resource exhaustion. He notes that this involves not just finances, but also infrastructure resilience, demographics, and social potential.

Kush highlights a sharp drop in direct Western budget support from $40-50 billion annually to approximately $15 billion. Ukraine’s current budget deficit is estimated at $27 billion, with a similar figure projected for next year.

"Either they begin taking actions to find a way out of the war, or everyone will simply end up under the rubble of this structure," Kush said.
