Day 687:
I'm still thinking about it...
Maybe... uh... idk i can't even talk about it... you might be wondering why we suddenly ended up at day 687... well... it all started when I began taking my medication
I can think so much more clearly now. Sometimes I wonder if I made a mistake two years ago, and if that mistake is what led to such a huge change in my life. But then I come back to my senses and think, no... maybe if I hadn’t done what I did that day, it could’ve cost me my life. Maybe I wouldn’t even be here to see this birthday... I don’t know, I just have this weird feeling. It’s almost like being happy without knowing why you’re happy, especially when you have so many problems going on in your life...
I’m not gonna lie, I’m still thinking about what that asshole said, about how I’m like Hassan. You know, if I could change the fact that he’s my father, I absolutely would. But that’s not something I have any control over....
And I’ll never put my own child through the things he put his daughter through. I’ll never throw my daughter or son out of the house. I’ll never go to my child’s friends and tell them that my own child is the most worthless, pathetic person to ever exist. (I don’t want to sound dramatic, so I won’t go into details, because some of the things he did are so horrible they sound unbelievable.)
People are different from each other.
Maybe I wasn’t the most lovable person in the world, but at least I had the courage to keep going, even when this life was terrifying and unbearably hard...
