Crypto scams are not slowing down
Fake support teams, wallet drainers, phishing links, fake giveaways, recovery scams – many people do not lose funds because wallets or blockchains “break”. They lose them when scammers find the weak point in the user journey.
No crypto service can protect users from every scam, SimpleSwap included. But we believe the industry should do more than say “be careful” after the damage is done.
That’s why we’re launching Know the Scam by SimpleSwap – an educational series about common crypto scam patterns, how they work, and what can help users spot them earlier.
We’re starting with The Crypto Scam Map: a breakdown of eight attack patterns behind many reported cases, where they meet the swap journey, and the first check that can break each one.
Prevention is not a single feature. It is a habit built through awareness.
