📈 Altseason in 2025?

Altseason is that unique phase when altcoins massively outperform Bitcoin, turning the market into a gold rush. It happens rarely, usually once every four years, and lasts 1-2 months. This is when coins like SOL, DOGE, SHIB, ADA made x10-x100 in past cycles.

Historically, it follows a pattern: BTC rallies first, then profits rotate into ETH, then large-cap alts, and finally smaller tokens. A clear signal is Bitcoin dominance (BTC.D) dropping after BTC peaks – exactly what we saw in 2017, when BTC.D fell from 71% to 36% in just over a month, igniting one of the strongest altseasons ever.

📈 Today, we’re seeing similar signs. Since mid-summer, BTC dominance has slipped from 66% to 60%, while liquidity flows into ETH and top alts. ETH/BTC is also strengthening – historically one of the best indicators that altseason is starting.

But this cycle isn’t identical. The market has matured: ETFs, institutional capital, new sectors like RWA, AI, DePIN, ZK. Growth might not hit every token at once, but rotate between sectors. At the same time, regulation is catching up. That’s why many analysts believe 2025 could be the last wild altseason before the rules change the game.

The big question: will it be a fast, explosive finale like in 2017, or a softer, more selective cycle shaped by institutions?
