August vlog’s here, a little challenge in between filming breaks! Taking a moment to join one of the challenges that’s been going around lately, it’s time to put Winwin’s imagination and drawing skills to the test. For the first time, he was challenged to quickly draw an object based on another object with a similar shape, then guess what it was supposed to be. Next came the harder part, drawing step by step based only on the descriptions and instructions he received. How well will his imagination do? Will he manage to get them all right? After all the drawing and guessing, it was time to wrap up a long day of filming with a healthy yet delicious homemade salad for dinner. A simple, fresh meal to recharge before another busy day on set.

#WINWIN Young Master Xu is about to make it through another summer in Hengdian.

The face card of Young Master Xu Fengjia deserves a moment of its own; sharp features, soft yet defined eyes, and that calm, composed expression that somehow makes every frame look like a scene straight out of a historical painting. But honestly, isn’t the red hanfu just as hard to ignore? The deep red shade, delicate embroidery, and flowing layers make the whole look feel even more elegant and striking. I’m still in Hengdian, currently in the middle of filming #JustinTimeforSpring #恰逢春 anyway, seeing that we’ve reached 500k reservations on the streaming app made me incredibly happy. Thank you for all the love, patience, and support you’ve given me throughout this journey. August is coming to an end, but there’s still so much more to look forward to. I’ll keep working hard and giving my very best to every scene.

#WINWIN A special little hello from the filming set on QiXi Festival Day!

I wanted to sneak away for a moment while changing costumes and getting my hair done to come say hi to you. I’ve been filming for almost three months now, and somehow August is already coming to an end. Time really flies, doesn’t it? It feels like I only just started, but suddenly autumn is almost here. And of course, I couldn’t come empty-handed, so here are a few little snapshots from my days lately. A casual outfit between schedules, a quiet moment in the car while watching the scenery pass by, a sky turning soft pink in the evening, and a few photos I took whenever I had a little time to spare. There are also some glimpses from wandering around the filming location. Thank you for always checking in on me and spending these little moments together, even from far away. I’ll come back with more stories from the set soon.
