why this name?

shell(f) consists of two words: shell — the shell of a snail, and shelf — the bookshelf

when we move, we can't always take the essentials with us (let alone paper books). but there are things that always stay with us, things that we carry around the world like snails carry their shells: our ideas, beliefs, thoughts, favorite quotes, references, our memory

we understand that in the context of what's happening in the world, all these shells and the search for meaning may seem small, insignificant, even naive. but we are also convinced that it is precisely in them that life, the warmth of human communication, empathy, and love are preserved
