ISIS MASSACRE: AT LEAST 72 CHRISTIANS KILLED IN CONGO ATTACKS

At least 72 Christians have reportedly been killed in a series of ISIS attacks in Congo’s Ituri Province, bringing the reported death toll in the province since mid-July to more than 200. In the deadliest attack, Islamic State Central Africa Province (ISCAP) reportedly killed 29 Christians in Mabakoa and Biam and burned 40 homes, forcing hundreds to flee. The following day, ISCAP fighters reportedly captured and beheaded 11 Christians in Amani. The group has reportedly killed more than 1,370 Christians in northeastern DR Congo since December 2024.
