Sense x Mechanical Sentiments

A new art project on Sense explores emotions familiar to everyone — joy, embarrassment, love, and inspiration. The artists meet people from around the world, create their digital 3D portraits, and, inspired by their stories, make unique art objects.

The NFT collection Mechanical Sentiments consists of two parts:
✨ Over 50 3D scans of people from across the globe.
✨ Inscriptions inspired by the personal stories and experiences of people, integrated into art objects by the artists.

The project began in Paris and includes digital objects, physical textile works, and graphics. It draws inspiration from the theme of the 2024 Venice Biennale — Stranieri Ovunque (Foreigners Everywhere). This autumn, Mechanical Sentiments was presented as part of a physical exhibition in Venice during the Biennale’s parallel program.

Andy Artyuhin — an art director, multidisciplinary artist, and designer based in Paris.
Alina Lutaeva — a multidisciplinary artist and curator also based in Paris.

This project is our contribution to the dialogue about what it means to be a foreigner everywhere and how this concept can help us better understand ourselves and each other.
