In this interview from 1988, progressive Jewish writer Isaac Asimov talks about using feminism as a form of population reduction. He speaks in glowing terms of promoting women in all sectors of life as an explicit means to lower birth rates, and in so doing “save the planet”.

It’s fascinating that the idea is considered conspiratorial now – that feminism was promoted by elites to deliberately lower birth rates – yet in the recent past liberals were confident in asserting this as a positive goal.

Of course, the same elites have also encouraged a massive population explosion in the Third World, through foreign aid and other interventions, and now justify mass immigration from those countries in to the West, to supplant the lowered birth rates they themselves induced.
