المپیاد هوش مصنوعی به دو بخش اصلی علمی و عملی تقسیم می‌شه. بخش علمی (Scientific Round) دو مرحله داره: یه مرحله خانگی و یه مرحله حضوری. توی مرحله خانگی، تیم‌ها یه ماه فرصت دارن روی سه تمرین کار کنن: یکی در پردازش زبان طبیعی (NLP)، یکی در یادگیری ماشین (ML) و یکی هم در بینایی ماشین (CV). مرحله حضوری هم همین سه تمرین رو داره ولی فقط ۸ ساعت وقت برای انجامش هست. هدف بخش علمی اینه که تیم‌ها مدل‌های جدید هوش مصنوعی بسازن و آموزش بدن.
بخش عملی (Practical Round) فقط حضوریه و دو تمرین داره: یکی برای تولید تصویر با هوش مصنوعی و یکی هم برای ساخت ویدیو. تیم‌ها چهار ساعت فرصت دارن این دو کار رو انجام بدن.
جالبه که کلا این المپیاد دومین باره که داره برگزار می‌شه. پارسال توی بلغارستان برگزار شده بود.

As the International AI Olympiad approaches and the Iranian team comes together, let’s take a look at what this competition is all about:
The AI Olympiad is divided into two main parts: the Scientific Round and the Practical Round. The Scientific Round has two stages—a take-home stage and an on-site stage. In the take-home stage, teams have one month to work on three tasks: one in Natural Language Processing (NLP), one in Machine Learning (ML), and one in Computer Vision (CV). The on-site stage includes the same three tasks, but teams only have 8 hours to complete them. The goal of the Scientific Round is for teams to build and train new AI models.
The Practical Round is only held on-site and includes two tasks: one for generating images using AI and another for creating videos. Teams have 4 hours to complete these challenges.
Interestingly, this is only the second time the Olympiad is being held. Last year, it took place in Bulgaria.
I’ll also share with you the notebooks containing all the questions and solutions from last year’s Olympiad so you can open and edit them in Jupyter or Colab.
