Вакансии PhD в Германии (Супрамолекулярная химия и сенсоры)
At the research group of Prof. Frank Biedermann (currently relocating to the Bergische Universität Wuppertal, Germany), we are looking for motivated PhD candidates. Our interdisciplinary group focuses on supramolecular chemistry, the development of artificial receptors, and molecular diagnostics.
We currently have open fully funded PhD positions across four primary research areas:
Analytical chemistry and biochemistry: Assay development for the use of chemosensors and artificial receptors for the detection and imaging of bioactive small molecules.
Data science and algorithm development: Including machine learning for assay data analysis.
Organic and inorganic chemistry: Synthesis of porous materials and chemosensor development.
Physical chemistry: Investigating the thermodynamics and kinetics of supramolecular complexes, accurate binding constant determinations, and spectroscopy.
All students with an internationally recognised Master’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Data Science, or comparable disciplines can apply. Please note that extensive organic synthesis experience is not strictly required for the analytical chemistry and data science tracks. We are looking for candidates with a strong interest in interdisciplinary research and collaboration.
