ALS蛋白与DNA修复有关的癌症和痴呆研究
科学家们发现ALS蛋白TDP43控制了DNA修复的关键过程，但当该蛋白失衡时，修复系统可能会失控，损害神经元并破坏DNA。研究人员还发现，TDP43水平升高与癌症突变率增加有关。该发现将TDP43置于神经退行性疾病和癌症生物学的核心。
