足球运动员头部重复撞击与炎症相关脑部变化和记忆力下降
研究发现，曾经从事过足球运动的大学和职业球员，炎症水平升高与脑结构变化有关，进而导致记忆力下降。该研究发表在《神经学》杂志上，但不能证明因果关系，只是表明相关性。
