研究发现，女性在阿尔茨海默病中比男性更积累tau蛋白，认知下降速度更快，研究结果发表在JAMA Neurology杂志上。tau蛋白在脑细胞中起维持结构和功能的作用，阿尔茨海默病时tau蛋白形成的纠结会干扰正常细胞功能。
