刚果盆地黑水湖释放古老碳气
刚果盆地深处的沼泽地储存着地球大量的碳，但新的研究表明，这个古老的碳库可能正在泄漏。研究人员正在研究非洲最大的黑水湖，发现大量二氧化碳冒入大气中，不仅来自近期植物生长，还来自几千年来被锁住的沼泽地。
